About Us
At First in Travel, we design high-end travel experiences for clients who expect more than just logistics. We work at the intersection of service, creativity, and technology, curating exceptional journeys for an elite global clientele.
Our clients expect discretion, precision, and originality. Some pay with cash, others with crypto but all expect their wants fulfilled, effortlessly. We speak their language, understand their world, and deliver luxury without the ego.
We’re expanding our sales team to meet growing demand for tailor-made luxury holidays. If you have deep destination knowledge, thrive in building client trust, and take pride in delivering extraordinary experiences, this could be your next move.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales & Client Relationship Management
* Take full ownership of the client journey from first contact through post-travel follow-up and repeat bookings.
* Use storytelling and insight to inspire, influence, and convert enquiries into bookings.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with UHNW clients through empathy, authenticity, and commercial understanding.
* Deliver high-touch service at every interaction, ensuring accuracy, discretion, and warmth in all communication (email and chat; no phone).
* Maintain contact with clients pre-departure, arranging bespoke concierge services and added-value touches that surprise and delight.
Luxury Travel Design
* Craft tailor-made luxury itineraries with particular strength in at least one of the following: Asia, Indian Ocean, or Europe.
* Combine creative flair with commercial acumen to design trips that maximise value, margin, and guest satisfaction.
* Demonstrate deep understanding of luxury hospitality, from top-tier resorts to unique experiences and cultural insight.
Operational Excellence
* Confidently manage bookings via CRM and supplier systems, ensuring data accuracy and follow-up.
* Use a combination of GDS (Sabre preferred) and direct vendor platforms to secure bookings efficiently.
* Delegate and coordinate internally to ensure seamless delivery across every touchpoint.
Continuous Improvement
* Attend training, product updates, and internal sessions to stay ahead of trends and maintain destination expertise.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales processes, communication, and client experience.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll be expected to deliver results - not through volume, but through precision. We value quality over quantity, but every interaction should convert. You’ll work to clearly defined sales targets, driving exceptional conversion rates and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant ancillaries that elevate the client experience while contributing to margin growth. We’re looking for demonstrable history of consistent performance and commercial awareness - someone who instinctively balances guest satisfaction with strong business outcomes.
If you already have a trusted network of clients who value your recommendations, that will help you thrive here because we know the best relationships often travel with the person who built them.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in luxury travel or lifestyle management.
* Proven success selling high-end tailor-made holidays.
* Strong understanding of UHNW expectations and ability to navigate with confidence and empathy.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Analytical mindset with commercial awareness, balancing service excellence with revenue and margin goals.
* CRM proficiency (Moonstride advantageous) and experience managing client pipelines digitally.
* A ‘can do, will do’ mindset with strong personal ownership and accountability.
* Confidence in delegating effectively and following through.
* Existing relationships with premium suppliers are an advantage.
* Professional, organised, and naturally warm - a true people person who thrives in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment.
What We Offer
* Competitive base salary plus performance incentives.
* Fully remote role, working flexibly across EU time zones.
* Opportunity to help shape a rapidly growing luxury brand.
* Supportive, collaborative team that values creativity, ownership, and results.
* Ongoing training, familiarisation trips, and access to exclusive industry perks.
