Electrical Supervisor – South East Region

Purpose of the Role
To oversee and manage a team of electricians on a number of programmes of work to be completed across the South East region.
Role Details
This is a permanent, full time role of 40 hours per week. You will be paid hourly with overtime paid. Company van provided with fuel card. You will also be paid travel time door‑to‑door, on top of contracted and overtime hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
* Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans
* Follow and promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment, and stop work if unsafe circumstances arise
* Coach and mentor electricians, electrical improvers/mates and apprentices
* Promote and demonstrate Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
* Promote positive health and well‑being amongst peers
* Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation
Requirements
* ECS gold card (essential)
* SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
* Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects
* Experience within water / heavy industrial industries
* Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification
* Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment)
