A growing engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to support both new business development and account management activity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical mindset who enjoys working with customers, understanding their requirements, and providing informed product solutions.
Key Qualifications
* Experience in technical sales, customer support, or an engineering-related role
* Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or industrial products
* Ability to interpret technical information and communicate it clearly
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Proactive approach to lead generation and account development
* Comfortable managing multiple projects and customer interactions
* Good organisational skills and familiarity with CRM systems
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
* Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads
* Providing technical advice and product support to customers
* Preparing quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation
* Liaising with internal engineering and production teams
* Visiting customers when required and representing the business at events
* Managing the full sales pipeline from initial enquiry to order
* Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 + Bonus + Benefits. Term: Permanent. Location: Biggleswade.
