Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator (CAT 1) – 30 hours per week
Part‑time post at The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, based at both Townlands Hospital, Henley‑on‑Thames and the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading.
Shift patterns: 30 hours per week over four days, working 08:00 am – 17:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the main point of contact for all administrative issues related to patients’ pathway of care.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and support proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
* Maintain high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer‑focused and knowledgeable contact.
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and timescales for all duties.
* Complete essential administrative tasks that enable the department to function safely and to a high standard.
Qualifications and Skills
* GCSE level or equivalent in Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
* Good computer literacy.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and a flexible, willing‑to‑learn attitude.
