In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting planning and projection management, providing analytical and strategic insight to help drive performance across the business. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to reinforce financial objectives, ensuring decisions are informed, data-driven, and commercially sound.
You’ll take ownership of margin analysis, cost management, and performance reporting, ensuring robust controls and accuracy in forecasting and budgeting processes. This role also offers the chance to challenge assumptions, influence strategic direction, and continuously improve processes to enhance business outcomes.
You will:
* Support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to enable effective decision-making.
* Deliver timely and accurate management information, including margin and cost reporting.
* Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide insight, challenge, and support around key business drivers.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of financial models and forecasting tools.
* Play a key role in the annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles, driving consistency and accuracy.
* Analyse trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support senior management with clear, actionable insight.
About you:
* Finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
* Strong Excel skills, with the ability to build and adapt complex financial models.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and able to build credibility and influence stakeholders.
* Demonstrable experience within a commercial finance or FP&A environment.
* Exposure to business partnering or similar roles where financial insight supports operational decision-making.
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
