About the College
Strathmore College is an SEN college for students aged 19 to 25. Each learner works on a completely individual programme specifically structured to support them into employment and to gain an increased level of independence as they prepare for adulthood. Good links with employers enable learners to develop skills in the workplace to support their transition.

About the Role
We are looking for someone with a well‑rounded skill set who brings both experience and a genuine passion for supporting others.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a psychology service to support students with complex needs
* Identify and deliver appropriate tailored therapy and interventions to promote and develop students' mental, emotional, physical, and social wellbeing
* Liaise with families and carers to support student progress and help them achieve their outcomes
* Carry out home visits and build positive, supportive relationships with families
* Welcome new starters through thoughtful and thorough assessments
* Deliver engaging, subject‑specific training to help colleagues thrive
* Manage EHCPs and contribute to meaningful, person‑centred annual reviews
* Work collaboratively with mental health professionals to support individual needs

Requirements
All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service, and provide at least 2 references covering the last 3 years from work with either children or vulnerable adults.
