Training
You may experience challenging behaviour as part of your role, we will provide you with the training required to carry out your role confidently.
If you are not qualified, but feel you would be a great addition to our team please get in touch as full training will be provided.

* Safeguarding (Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children)
* Sexual Exploitation
* Suicide and Self Harm Awareness.
There will also be ongoing training as your role develops.
Day to day responsibilities -
*Supervise and monitor the safety of children inside the home and community.
*Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children.
*Help children keep good hygiene.
*Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day/night that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe.
*Promoting positive behaviours and outcomes.
*Taking young people on activities.
*Taking young people to meetings and contact.
*Driving License essential - role requires staff to take young people to appointments/meetings and activities.
As part of the role a DBS check will be carried out on all applicants as required by law. Please let us know if you're signed up to the DBS update service.
If you are on the update DBS service this will be beneficial.
Flexibility needed as shifts will include days, nights and weekends.
