This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, working closely with senior investors on the origination, evaluation, execution, and management of complex infrastructure transactions across Europe and beyond.
As an Associate, you will play a key role in the full deal lifecycle, gaining significant exposure to both greenfield and brownfield investments across sectors such as energy transition, transportation, utilities, and digital infrastructure. The role offers hands-on experience in private equity investing with a long-term value creation mindset, within a firm that combines institutional scale with the agility and culture of a high-growth investment platform.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the investment team in the sourcing, diligence, structuring, and execution of new investment opportunities
* Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning for potential transactions
* Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and internal memoranda
* Coordinate due diligence processes across legal, technical, commercial, and financial workstreams
* Engage with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholders during transaction execution and post-investment phases
* Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives post-acquisition
* Stay informed on market developments and macro trends impacting the infrastructure and energy sectors
Candidate Requirements:
* 1.5 to 3.5 years of professional experience, ideally within investment banking (infrastructure coverage), private equity, or a similar buyside role with direct deal experience
* Demonstrated experience working on infrastructure transactions (e.g., energy, transport, utilities, telecoms, etc.)
* Strong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills
* Must be strong in deal structuring, due diligence processes, and investment evaluation frameworks
* Highly motivated self-starter with strong commercial judgment and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in lean deal teams
* European language skills are a plus, but not required
What our client offers:
* High deal exposure and responsibility from day one
* Flat team structure with direct access to senior decision-makers
* Broad sector and geographic exposure with a global investment mandate
* Opportunity to help shape and grow a differentiated, hands-on investment platform focused on long-term value creation in essential infrastructure
* Collaborative and inclusive team culture committed to professional development
