What You'll Do:
* Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.
* Prepare and review detailed design calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
* Oversee site investigations and assessments.
* Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
* Conduct site visits and attend project meetings to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
* Manage project budgets and ensure delivery aligns with client expectations.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
What We're Looking For:
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it.
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in infrastructure, drainage, highways, and site development.
* Proven project management experience, including budget and resource oversight.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
* Knowledge of environmental sustainability and green infrastructure solutions.
* Experience in team management and leadership within project environments.
