Job Summary
Flixton Road Medical Centre, based in Urmston, Trafford is looking for General Practice Salaried Doctors to work up to 6 sessions per week (Monday 8am‑4pm, Wednesday 9am‑5pm, Thursday 8am‑4pm). This role covers maternity leave until 31 May 2026.
Main Duties
* 13 AskMyGP appointments (pre‑booked face‑to‑face and telephone)
* Own bloods to review and contact patients
* Routine prescriptions (60 per session)
* Docman (max 10 letters per session)
* 2 visits per day
* Part of a practice using EMIS Web, AskMyGP, One Template, Docman, and Accurx

* 2 Partners, 8 Salaried GPs, ST GPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Assistant Practitioners, 2 Clinical Pharmacists (Prescribers), Pharmacy Technician
* Shared ARRS staff: Adult Social Prescribers, First Contact Physios, Dieticians
* Administration run by a Reception Supervisor
* Good CQC rating, high QoF achievement, regular team meetings, ward round GP for care home patients
* Training practice, innovative working, active participation in Locally Enhanced Services, member of Trafford West PCN
Salary & Contract
Salary: £11,000 per session (dependent on experience)
Contract: Fixed term, 5 months, part‑time.
Working Pattern
Up to 6 sessions per week (see schedule).
Responsibilities
* Attend pre‑booked face‑to‑face and telephone appointments via AskMyGP.
* Complete 13 consultations per session plus administrative time for scripts, bloods, Docman.
* Use One Template for referring and data entry into patient records.
Qualifications
* Qualified GP
* MRCGP
* General Practitioner CCT
* Full GMC registration
* Registered with National Performers List
* Appropriate defence indemnity
* Eligibility to perform in the UK independently
Desirable
* Good IT skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Full UK valid driving licence
* Experience of EMIS Web and AMGP (training provided)
* Experience of QoF and CCG/NHSE initiatives
Experience
* Experience working within primary care.
