Site Manager – Roofing (Temp to Perm)
Start Date: Week Commencing 9th March 2026
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong roofing background to oversee multiple roofing projects across the Midlands. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.
The Role
This is a travelling position covering areas including Burntwood, Cannock, Wolverhampton, and as far as Northampton. Applicants must be comfortable travelling regularly and experienced in managing multiple live sites.
You will be responsible for:

Managing site operatives and subcontractors across various locations
*
Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
*
Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety standards
*
Identifying and addressing H&S concerns promptly
*
Maintaining high standards of site organisation and cleanliness
*
Overseeing daily site operations from open to close
The role will be based out of a site compound in Burntwood (two-storey cabin setup – site office upstairs, canteen and welfare facilities below).
Requirements

Strong roofing background (essential)
*
SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)
*
Up-to-date Health & Safety knowledge (essential)
*
NVQ (preferred but not essential)
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Proactive, organised, and takes pride in maintaining high-quality sites
Working Hours
*
07:30 – 16:30
*
Expected to arrive slightly earlier to open site and remain until close
Package

£28 per hour (CIS)
*
Weekly pay

Company van and fuel card provided
