Contract Opportunities: Project Manager & Business Analyst – EMEA Obligations Register Initiative
London/Hybrid | Until 31/03/2026 | Day Rates: PM £750 / BA £650 via Umbrella
Join a major financial institution headquartered in Japan as part of a high-profile Compliance Transformation programme delivering an EMEA-wide Obligations Register. This strategic, regulatory-driven initiative involves close collaboration with PwC and stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Risk, ITSD, and the wider business.
We’re hiring two contract roles to support delivery:
Project Manager
You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of the Obligations Register across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely execution, strong governance, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project planning, execution, and delivery.
* Manage stakeholder relationships (Compliance, Legal, Risk, PwC).
* Oversee governance, reporting, and senior-level communications.
* Drive business readiness, training, and BAU integration.
* Ensure regulatory alignment across EMEA.
Business Analyst
You’ll support the analysis, design, and implementation of mapped regulatory obligations and associated controls, working closely with SMEs and contributing to documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Elicit and document business/functional requirements.
* Translate regulations into mapped obligations and controls.
* Support testing, validation, and UAT processes.
* Liaise across Compliance, Legal, Risk, and PwC to ensure traceability.
* Contribute to change, training, and BAU transition planning.
What We’re Looking For (both roles):
* Experience in regulatory compliance, legal, or risk change projects within financial services.
* Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA/PRA, EU regs).
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Experience with obligations registers or regulatory mapping highly desirable.
* PMs should have formal project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP).
* BAs with Business Analysis certification (e.g. BCS, CBAP) are preferred.
