In this dynamic role, you will: Lead the strategic commissioning and market shaping of adult care services. Champion support for unpaid carers across the Council and health system. Oversee the Brokerage Function, our Technology Enabled Care Strategy, prevention approaches, market intelligence and implement the Council's Fee Strategy. Collaborate with people that draw on care and support. Collaborate with provider partners, NHS partners, the voluntary sector and district councils to ensure best value and continuous improvement. Manage staff and resources, guiding virtual project teams to achieve our goals. To excel in this role, you should have: A degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant area. A strong understanding of adult social care legislation and policy. Proven experience in strategic commissioning, contract management, and quality assurance.
