The Opportunity
Reporting into the MD you'll lead the smooth, efficient and profitable running of our UK service operations.
You’ll ensure:
* Engineers are scheduled effectively.
* Machines, parts and stock are in the right place at the right time.
* Workshops, stock control and refurb processes run efficiently.
* Fleet compliance, MOTs and PMIs are maintained.
By coordinating service schedules, machine placements, refurbishments, chemical stock and fleet activity, you’ll help deliver exceptional customer service and provide clear operational insight to the MD.

About You
* Experienced people manager with strong coaching skills.
* Confident across Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Knowledge of - or willingness to develop - Operator’s Licence and CPC regulations.
* Willing to complete the Manager’s CPC.
* Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
* Technically minded and able to understand machine specifications.
* Collaborative, with a clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Weekly scheduling of service engineers and machine placements/swaps.
* Accurate completion of paperwork for machine movements, servicing and waste disposal.
* Monthly service-efficiency reporting for the MD.
* Support purchasing of new machines.
* Maintain and control machine stock across Stroud and third-party locations.
* Oversee Stroud workshop operations, parts stock and refurb processes.
* Manage monthly chemical stock counts across UK sites.
* Ensure full fleet compliance including MOTs, PMIs and related requirements.
