General Manager – Stannah Group
Stannah Group invites applications for the General Manager role at Global Upholstery Solutions Ltd and 3D Ply Ltd, part of the Stannah Group, based across multiple manufacturing sites including Andover and Blandford.
This leadership position involves providing strategic leadership and operational direction across both businesses, ensuring commercial performance, product quality, safety, and profitable growth. You will oversee all aspects of operations, people leadership, financial performance, and customer engagement while driving continuous improvement and alignment with Group strategy.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead from the front: Oversee all aspects of operations across two sites, ensuring commercial success, product safety & quality, and health & safety.
* Represent the business with professionalism and confidence to customers, stakeholders, and at industry events.
* Drive strategy and performance: Set and execute business strategies aligned with group objectives, focusing on profitability, sustainability, and innovation.
* Inspire a close‑knit team: Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing leadership team across both sites, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Champion customer relationships: Strengthen partnerships with key clients and suppliers, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term value.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role.
* Strong commercial acumen with direct P&L responsibility and a track record of delivering results.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate confidently at board level.
* A hands‑on leadership style with the ability to build trust and unity within a multi‑site team.
* A degree or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business and ideally IOSH certification.
