The Role
As an Associate IT Engineer, you will support our technology infrastructure and ensure seamless operations across the organisation. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills while working with a diverse set of systems and technologies.
You’ll be
* First line of support for end users, onsite and for remote employees.
* Respond to and diagnose problems through discussions with users; include problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution steps.
* Work with a ticket help desk system.
* Manage user accounts, including creating new users, resetting passwords, and assigning permissions.
* Escalate tickets to other team members as needed.
* Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, system setups, and user guides.
* Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, new software rollouts, and office moves.
* Work on physical infrastructure (network cabling, office cable management, CCTV installations).
We’re looking for someone who has
* Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems (Mac and Windows).
* Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise in a high-pressure environment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
* Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
* Desire to learn new technologies and grow IT skills.
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Customer-service oriented mindset and a passion for helping others.
* Core knowledge of MFA/2FA.
Nice to have
* Network fundamentals (e.g., IP ranges, VLANs, VoIP).
* Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Bash) for task automation.
