We are working with a fantastic, well-established business based in Hawarden who are looking to recruit a Part-Time Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join their small, friendly team.
Working closely with the company Accountant and support team, you will be responsible for a range of day-to-day accounts and payroll duties to help keep things running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and efficiently
Managing purchase and sales ledgers
Completing bank reconciliations and general account maintenance
Assisting with VAT returns and financial reporting
Handling supplier invoices, payments, and queries
Providing general finance administration support as needed
You will have:
Previous experience in a similar accounts and payroll position is essential
Construction industry experience would be highly beneficial but not essential
Confident using accounting software Sage
High attention to detail, organised and reliable
A true team player who enjoys working in a small, collaborative team
What is on offer:
£26,000 - £28,000 pro-rata
Flexible working: 3 full days or 5 shorter days per week
