The new Pont Y Gamlas Primary School is seeking two exceptional teachers to join our team as we open our new school and shape an outstanding provision for learners in Phase 1 to Phase 2. About the Role As a Phase 1-2 Teacher, you will: - Create a stimulating, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where curiosity, creativity and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do - Plan and deliver engaging, meaningful learning experiences rooted in exploratory-based, experiential learning and strong pedagogical practice - Develop learning in line with the Curriculum for Wales, enabling children to grow as ambitious, capable learners - Support children's communication, personal, social and emotional development, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and included - Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure progression and continuity across Phase 1 and Phase 2 - Co-construct learning alongside children, recognising their voices, interests and fascinations - Create enabling environments that promote independence, resilience and deep engagement - Work proactively with parents and carers, embracing our vision of a community school where families are true partners - Contribute to the development of a new school culture, helping to shape provision from the very beginning About You We are looking for professionals who: - Are highly skilled, reflective practitioners with a strong track record of making a difference to children's learning and wellbeing - Have a secure understanding of progression from early learning through to Progression step 2. - Are passionate about Curriculum for Wales and can design meaningful, authentic learning experiences - Are creative, enthusiastic and resilient, with the drive to help build something special - Value relationships, inclusion and wellbeing, recognising that emotional security underpins learning - Work effectively as part of a team and are committed to collaboration and professional growth - Are committed to working in partnership with parents, carers and the wider community Why Pont Y Gamlas?
