Digital Account Director – North West
We are looking for a Digital Account Director to manage key accounts across Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire. You will deliver best‑in‑class, bespoke digital solutions to a high‑value client base, each with a minimum annual spend of £8,000 across our full product portfolio.
The primary function is to retain, nurture and grow customers’ spend into high‑performing digital marketing solutions while actively sourcing new business and collaborating with a team of BDMs to drive referrals into your pipeline. Your everyday focus will be on expanding client digital portfolios and acquiring new high‑value customers seeking a digital agency‑level solution.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage an elite portfolio of customers with annual spend ranging from £8,000 to £70,000.
* Drive growth sales through premium, bespoke products, identifying and acquiring new digital opportunities aligned with client needs and agency spend thresholds.
* Partner with the Field Sales Manager and BDM team to generate high‑quality referral opportunities and support BDM training and development.
* Nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including Digital Marketing Managers, product and commercial managers, L&D, marketing and finance teams.
* Facilitate training sessions and onboarding programs for new and existing team members, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
* Champion best practices, cultivating a high‑performance sales culture within the team.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing high‑value digital advertising accounts.
* Demonstrated track record of digital sales performance, including base customer growth and high‑value acquisition.
* Strategic thinker with deep understanding of digital marketing campaigns and technology.
* Resilient, disciplined, tenacious and comfortable seeking testimonials to support a client‑dedicated ethos.
* Effective personal development plan, continuously adapting to the digital market and monitoring competitors.
* Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex digital information clearly and concisely.
* Emotionally intelligent, respectful, professional and collaborative with team members and support functions.
* Task‑orientated, willing to go the extra mile for clients, flexible to adapt priorities and targets swiftly.
