Role Description
The Vehicle Storage Controller is a full-time, on-site role based at Heaunique Group’s facility in Lathbury. This role is responsible for coordinating the intake, storage, movement, and release of vehicles, ensuring that all assets are handled with care and accurately recorded in internal systems. Daily tasks include checking vehicles in and out, performing visual inspections, updating logs, and coordinating with logistics partners for covered transport. The role also involves monitoring security measures, supporting the CCTV access process, and maintaining a clean, organized storage environment indoors and outdoors. The Vehicle Storage Controller will communicate regularly with clients, technicians, and service partners to schedule access, servicing, and maintenance, while upholding high standards of customer service and confidentiality.
Qualifications
* Strong organizational and coordination skills, including experience tracking assets, maintaining logs, and managing schedules in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and basic inspection skills to check vehicle condition, document any issues, and ensure accurate records and reporting.
* Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients, service partners, and colleagues, both in person and by phone/email.
* Comfort working with basic digital tools and systems, such as inventory or booking software, mobile apps, and CCTV or access control interfaces.
* Full, clean driving license and confidence maneuvering a range of vehicles within storage and yard areas; experience with high-value or specialist vehicles is advantageous.
* Awareness of security and safety procedures, with a responsible approach to safeguarding high-value assets and maintaining a safe working environment.
* Ability to work on-site in Runcorn on a full-time basis, including flexibility for occasional extended hours to meet operational needs.
* Previous experience in automotive storage, dealership operations, logistics, or a related field is beneficial but not essential for candidates with strong transferable skills.
