Department: Premium Seating

Reporting to: Commercial Director

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 09.00 – 18.00, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one-hour unpaid lunch per day; 40 hours per week. The role requires a high degree of flexibility to support major matches, senior client engagement, sales activity and business priorities.

Key Purpose of Role

To represent Marylebone Cricket Club with authority, professionalism and commercial credibility, acting in line with MCC’s brand values of being Smart, Attentive, Original and Together.

To be fully accountable for the commercial performance, growth and evolution of the Club’s Premium Seating portfolio, delivering material revenue contribution through strategic planning, market leadership, product innovation and high‑performing sales execution.

To lead and motivate the Premium Seating sales team to consistently outperform targets, while ensuring a seamless handover from sale to delivery and an exceptional end‑to‑end client experience.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

* Own, develop and execute a clear long‑term Premium Seating strategy that maximises revenue, yield and lifetime value across all premium products.
* Set, manage and deliver the annual Premium Seating budget in conjunction with the Commercial Director, taking full accountability for financial performance.
* Deliver all Premium Seating commercial KPIs across Debentures, Seasonal Suites, Daily Suites and Daily Experiences.
* Drive a high‑performance sales culture, setting clear expectations, stretching targets and holding the team rigorously accountable for results.
* Actively identify new commercial opportunities, optimise pricing strategies and develop compelling new Premium Seating products aligned with the Ground redevelopment programme and future demand.
* Take ownership of senior client relationships, leading negotiations with key clients, agents, hospitality resellers and concierge partners.
* Work in close partnership with Hospitality Operations, Marketing and Finance to ensure commercial strategy is executable and consistently delivered at the highest standard.
* Implement robust sales forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting to inform decision‑making and proactively manage risk and opportunity.
* Personally lead and host senior client entertainment, networking and Premium Seating events, including evenings and weekends, as required.
* Support wider Commercial initiatives and undertake any additional responsibilities as directed by the Commercial Director.

Person Specifications – Skills, Experience and Qualifications

* Significant senior‑level sales leadership experience within premium seating or a comparable high‑value B2B hospitality environment.
* Commercially astute with a demonstrable track record of delivering sustained revenue growth.
* Proven ability to develop and execute strategy while driving short‑term sales performance.
* Strong experience of leading, motivating and developing high‑performing sales teams.
* Evidence of successful product development, pricing strategy and go‑to‑market execution.
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal credibility to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior clients and Board‑level stakeholders.
* Highly collaborative leader, able to influence across functions and drive alignment.
* Advanced skills in forecasting, budgeting and commercial reporting.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
* Highly organised, resilient and comfortable operating under pressure.
* Professional presence and high standard of personal presentation.
* Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
