We are seeking an ambitious and knowledgeable Horse Air Transport Agent & Business Development Executive to join our growing team and expand our equine air transport services across the UK and internationally. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong connections in the horse racing, polo, and wider equestrian industries, who understands the importance of professional, welfare-focused, and efficient transport solutions. The successful candidate will focus on developing new commercial relationships with trainers, owners, breeders, and equine organisations, helping us bring our specialist air transport services to a wider market. You will attend key horse sales (including Tattersalls in Newmarket), race meetings, and equestrian events to build visibility, generate business, and strengthen our industry presence. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow a strong client base across the racing, polo, and equestrian sectors. Build lasting relationships with trainers, owners, stud farms, and equine professionals to promote the company’s air transport services. Attend horse sales, racing meetings, and equestrian events across the UK to network and identify new business opportunities. Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination of international horse air transport projects. Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and service plans for clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for expansion. Represent the company professionally and uphold high standards of animal welfare, compliance, and customer service. Meet agreed business generation and growth targets, reporting regularly to senior management. Requirements Proven experience in the equestrian, racing, or horse transport sectors. Strong existing network within the horse racing, polo, or equestrian communities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of horse transport logistics, animal welfare standards, and air transport regulations (DEFRA/IATA) is advantageous. Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Willingness to travel regularly within the UK. Full UK driving licence.
