Schools in the Oldbury area are seeking dependable and confident Cover Supervisors to support with daily and short-term classroom cover. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with students and feels comfortable leading a classroom using pre-planned materials.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Cover Supervisor is helpful, but not essential
* Background working with young people, education, or childcare
* Confident communicator with strong behaviour management
* Able to follow set lesson plans and keep learners engaged
* A genuine interest in supporting secondary-aged students
* Driving would be beneficial for accessing different school sites
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-set lesson plans
* Keeping the classroom focused, calm, and on task
* Managing behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensuring all work is completed and instructions are followed
* Reporting any concerns or issues to senior staff
* Maintaining a positive and professional presence in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
