Were looking for a Product Manager to take the lead on a key fruit category, managing product quality and performance from intake through to final dispatch. Supported by an Assistant Product Manager and working Monday to Friday, youll collaborate across technical, production, and commercial teams to ensure our mango category consistently meets customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain product stocks, ensuring timely stock allocation and daily order of use
Oversee re-inspections, yield data updates, and support continual quality monitoring
Verify and sign off QC team reports, confirming action plans and ensuring accuracy in systems
Respond to product rejections, completing investigations and updating technical systems accordingly
Maintain open communication with retail customers, providing performance updates and technical insights
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate reporting on service levels, complaints, and product performance
Support product knowledge training across the team and assist with customer visits and audits
Contribute to product and process improvement projects within a fast-paced, quality-led packhouse environment
What Youll Need: Proven experience in product management or quality control within a fresh produce or packhouse setting
Strong organisational and decision-making skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across technical, operations, and commercial teams
Comfortable working in a chilled environment and handling product throughout the shift
Attention to detail when managing data, reports, and system updates
An interest in continuous improvement and collaborative working to support wider team goals
