Snr. Technical Program Manager, Device OS

Key Job Responsibilities
* Engage with a cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative software solutions that will be a core part of Amazon Devices, driving programs from design to launch with an experienced cross-functional engineering team.
* Leverage strong technical deep-dive skills, especially in building scalable distributed systems using AWS, combined with excellent project management, communication, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
* Work with key stakeholders in product management and partner engineering teams to define strategy and requirements.
* Drive development of a critical new program from concept through launch.
* Coordinate with partner teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines.
* Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control.
Basic Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
* 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
* 3+ years of software development experience.
* 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
* Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
* Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Preferred Qualifications
* 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk/critical path management.
* Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
* Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
