We are looking for a dedicated Service Technician to work from our Haydock service centre, covering our customers around the Northwest.
Your Role:
After completing your training as a Service Technician, you will ensure the effective, timely, and efficient delivery of products to customer sites, handle first-line fault service visits, and perform repairs against specific service level agreements. All activities are recorded via our job management system.
Main responsibilities include:

* Disinfecting, function checking, repairing, and electrical safety testing products
* Completing records of testing, delivery, and collection
* Maintaining product stock and spare parts inventory
* Completing product modifications as required
* Providing product demonstrations and basic staff training
* Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 weekends, and 2 days off the following week.
Experience Needed:
Ideal candidates will have or be willing to develop the following:
* Mechanical or electrical background (training provided if needed)
* Experience in delivery driving and route planning (desirable)
* Full UK driving license (training and support provided for vehicle maneuvering)
Personal requirements include:
* A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and follow procedures to meet deadlines
* Basic PC skills, including email and MS Office
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check
Please note, manual handling involving lifting, carrying, and loading Medstrom products is part of this role.
In addition to salary and benefits, you will join a rapidly growing company offering great career opportunities. Medstrom is an equal opportunities employer, valuing diversity, and committed to providing an inclusive environment free from harassment.
