Were delighted to be supporting a respected, independent Accountancy Practice in Leeds that is continuing to grow its Audit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior who wants to work closely with UK owner-managed businesses and be part of a collaborative, professional, and people-focused firm.

About the Role:
As Audit Senior, youll play a key role in delivering high-quality audits for a varied portfolio of clients across the region. Youll lead fieldwork, supervise junior staff, and report directly to Managers and Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading on-site audits for clients reporting under FRS 102
* Managing the full audit process, from planning to completion
* Supervising and mentoring junior audit team members
* Preparing statutory accounts and supporting documentation
* Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide support
* Reporting findings and progress to Audit Managers and Partners
* Working with a range of software including Excel, IRIS, Sage, and ProAudit
What Were Looking For:
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist)
* Minimum of 2 years external audit experience, ideally with UK owner-managed businesses
* At least 12 months leading on-site audits, managing junior staff, and liaising with clients
* Strong experience in statutory accounts preparation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car
* Solid Excel skills; familiarity with ProAudit, IRIS, and SAGE is a bonus
