The Role of a Murphy Work Coordinator
The Work Coordinator provides high-level support to the Resources & Logistics Team. Working within a team environment, this role is pivotal, offering high-quality organizational and administrative support. The role may also involve managing various ad-hoc projects as the Project and Alliance develop.
A Day in the Life of a Murphy Work Coordinator
1. Ensure that alliancing behaviors and ‘best for project’ approaches are always followed, leading by example for successful program delivery.
2. Rostering resource requirements in accordance with employment terms and work program deadlines.
3. Develop staff rosters in line with SHES policies and procedures.
4. Manage the allocation of hours and weekend shifts, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
5. Input training, annual leave, and sickness data into relevant systems.
6. Maintain robust communication with all key stakeholders.
7. Provide administrative support to the Resources & Logistics team, including travel and hotel bookings.
8. Develop and maintain the rostering database and generate internal reports.
9. Assist in maintaining the company’s long-term resource database for effective staff and resource allocation.
10. Ensure the availability of qualified, skilled personnel to deliver construction and other project activities.
11. Complete and submit all necessary documentation for effective people management.
12. Undertake any other duties as required, aligned with capabilities and project needs.
