Join us at Stockport Council MJ Local Authority of the Year 2025 Your Role Stockport Council are recruiting a Mechanical Project Engineer HVAC & Decarbonisation to work within the Estate and Asset Management Team. We have a large programme of capital developments across the borough covering our Education, Leisure, Corporate and Commercial portfolio. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will lead the construction engineering aspects of project delivery. You will work alongside an internal team of Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, as well as leading externally commissioned consultant teams. About You You will have a technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering Design, including HVAC & Decarbonisation as well as procurement, assisting / advising of with cost planning, construction contract management, and delivery of commercially viable schemes. You will have strong partnership skills and be able to develop strong relationships to ensure timely project delivery.
