The Repairs and Maintenance Service are recruiting a Supplies Assistant to join our existing team temporary for 12 months.

About the Role and Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide a professional, efficient and cost effective supplies and logistics service to our customers within the reapirs and maintenance section.
2. Issuing and receipting of goods and materials using ICT systems.
3. Stock checking and subsequent investigations into discrepancies.
4. Raising of low valued stock orders.
5. Efficient organisaion of stores locations to acceptable standard, keeping areas safe, clean and tidy.
6. Undertake visual inspection of tools, equipments and may invlove using plant and machineray including forklift trucks and electric pallet stacker.
Key Essential Skills and Person Specification:
7. Demonstrate a good understanding of the supplies and logistics processes and procedures.
8. Exprerience of working in an operational supplies and logistics enviroment.
9. Experience in using ICT systems in a stores or warehouse enviroment.
10. Experience of working effectively within a team to contribute to the targets and goals set.
11. Good working knowledge of Health and Safety within a stores and warehouse enviroment.
12. Have the ability to use own initiative and work with limited supervision.
13. Ability to work under pressure to toght deadlines.
