Specification Sales Consultant – Leading Global Security Manufacturer South of England (London-accessible) | National Travel Required Are you a proactive, technically strong sales professional looking to shape major security projects across the UK? A global leader in security technology, designing and manufacturing cutting-edge video, access control, intruder detection, and communications systems, is expanding its UK team and seeking an accomplished Specification Sales Consultant to drive project-led growth. About the Role As a Specification Sales Consultant, you will own the demand-creation and project-specification process across key UK verticals. You’ll work closely with consultants, integrators, and end-users, influencing design decisions and guiding major security projects from early engagement through to successful conversion. Key Responsibilities * Develop strong relationships with security consultants, specifiers, and end-users in sectors such as Government, Police, Border/Homeland Security, and Local Authorities * Proactively identify and generate new project opportunities nationwide * Promote the company’s full security portfolio, with an emphasis on video systems, analytics, VMS, and integrated platforms * Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and project support * Influence specifications to position the brand as the preferred solution within key projects * Collaborate with internal technical, product, and commercial teams to ensure project success What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in specification or project-led sales within the security industry * Strong technical understanding of CCTV, VMS, analytics, and ideally broader electronic security systems * A track record of selling into the public sector and high-security verticals * A proactive, consultative approach with excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Ability and willingness to travel nationally when required What’s on Offer * Competitive salary (DOE) performance bonus * Company car * Life insurance & private medical insurance * 25 days holiday bank holidays * Opportunity to join a world-leading brand with genuine career progression If you're an experienced security sales professional who thrives in project-driven environments, this is an exceptional opportunity to represent one of the most respected names in the global security market
