Enterprise Account Manager IT and Telco Connectivity Managed Services

£40,000 - £60,000 Base DOE Neg + 5K Car Allowance + Great Commission

Realistic OTE £80-10K + + Full Benefits package

UK Remote + client visits and anchor days. To suit candidate in striking distance of Birmingham, West Midlands or London (M25 corridor) or Manchester, Northwest


Applause IT is recruiting on behalf of a large and leading multi offcie IT and connectivity Managed Services Provider delivering innovative solutions across cybersecurity, intelligent connectivity, cloud, communications, and contact centre technologies.

We are seeking an initiative-taking and strategic Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of Corporate Private Sector Enterprise-level clients. Your goal is to drive long-term retention, revenue growth, and profitability by becoming a trusted advisor-helping clients innovate, optimise their technology landscape, and achieve their business objectives.

This is a consultative, relationship-led position where you will act as an extension of your clients' organisations, supporting their long-term strategy and ensuring outstanding service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of Enterprise accounts.
2. Build strong multi-level stakeholder relationships, including senior leadership and C-suite.
3. Promote and sell the full solutions portfolio, including:
4. Cybersecurity
5. Intelligent Connectivity
6. Managed Services
7. Hybrid Cloud
8. Unified Communications
9. Contact Centre Solutions
10. Lead virtual account teams and collaborate closely with Service Management.
11. Maintain accurate CRM updates, forecasts, contracts, and billing administration.
12. Create and manage Account Development Plans, Business Plans, and Win Plans.
13. Apply qualification and outcome-based sales methodologies to progress opportunities effectively.

What You will Bring

Experience

14. Proven experience managing and developing client relationships face-to-face.
15. 3-5 years + IT MSP and Connectivity Sales in a similar role
16. Background in solution selling and value-led sales methodologies.
17. Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex contracts.
18. Knowledge of managed services, cloud, connectivity, or cybersecurity solutions.
19. You do not have to be an expert in everything listed though as there are specialist sales support.
20. Consistent achievement of sales and revenue targets.

22. Strong relationship-builder with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
23. Strategic thinker with the ability to articulate business value clearly.
24. Confident leading virtual teams and cross-functional collaboration.
25. Highly organised, adaptable, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
