This is a fast‑paced, people‑focused position where you’ll be the central coordination point between candidates, hiring managers, and external suppliers. You’ll be responsible for keeping recruitment activity running smoothly, from managing applications and scheduling interviews to ensuring compliance checks are completed and onboarding documentation is prepared accurately. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to juggle multiple priorities will help us deliver a seamless, professional experience for every candidate who interacts with our organisation. This is a new role to the business and works closely with the Resourcing Business Partner and HR team. Key Responsibilities: Manage recruitment administration, ensuring applicant progress is accurately tracked throughout the recruitment lifecycle Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring recruitment data and candidate records are accurate and up to date Collect and verify candidate documentation including right-to-work checks, qualifications, certifications, and any compliance documentation required for employment Assist with and support the onboarding process Assist in preparing job adverts and posting vacancies across relevant recruitment platforms Proactively source and headhunt candidates using a variety of channels including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and talent pipelines Coordinate and schedule interviews, provide feedback to candidates and hiring managers in a timely manner Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining regular communication with applicants and responding to queries throughout the recruitment process Screen and assess candidates through CV reviews and initial interviews to ensure suitability for the role and alignment with business requirements Liaise with recruitment agencies where required to support hiring needs and ensure delivery against agreed recruitment timelines Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as required by the business Skills & Experience Previous practical experience in an internal recruitment or talent acquisition role (essential) Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from role briefing through to offer and onboarding Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, field-based, or operational roles is desirable Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, for managing documentation, recruitment tracking, and reporting Experience recruiting within the utilities, energy, engineering, telecoms, or infrastructure sectors is advantageous Strong sourcing and candidate attraction skills, including use of job boards, LinkedIn, and direct sourcing methods Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment databases Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to their work and self-motivated What we offer?
