An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Conveyancing Assistant to work closely one-to-one with the Head of Residential Property. This is an ideal role for an experienced conveyancing professional looking to provide high-level support on a wide range of residential property matters, from instruction through to post-completion.
The Role
Working alongside the Head of Department, you will be a key part of the team, providing comprehensive support across the full residential conveyancing process, including:

Opening new files and preparing initial documentation.

Supporting sales and purchase transactions.
*
Conducting property searches and preparing contracts.
*
Managing client, lender, and third-party enquiries efficiently.
*
Handling incoming funds, exchange, and completion arrangements.
*
Overseeing post-completion work, including registration formalities.
*
Assisting with billing, file management, and maintaining accurate records.
*
Acting as a trusted point of contact to ensure smooth workflow and high client satisfaction.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing support.
*
Strong working knowledge of sales and purchases.
*
Excellent organisational, IT, and communication skills.
*
A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work closely with senior colleagues.
*
High attention to detail and the capability to manage a busy workload independently.
