Warehouse Administrator Reports to: Warehouse Manager Hours: 37.5 hours per week Job Purpose: To support the Warehouse and Transport departments with administration and compliance, ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of products to customers. This role combines transport coordination and warehouse administration to maintain smooth daily operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Printing orders and labels for various couriers Updating and producing paperwork for drivers, including load manifests Organising transport, daily shipments, and urgent same-day couriers Obtaining and comparing quotes for transport services Completing Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN) for European shipments Processing and tracking stock transfers Preparing arrival advice for daily deliveries Troubleshooting delivery issues to support the Sales Office (e.g. missing or delayed deliveries) Creating and receiving purchase orders Monitoring and controlling office supplies (e.g. toner, paper, labels) Assisting with stocktaking and inventory control in the warehouse Providing hands-on support in the warehouse when required, following all Health & Safety and manual handling guidelines Supporting other departments with administrative tasks when needed Supplementary Duties and Responsibilities: Liaising with transport providers and warehouse staff to coordinate efficient collections and deliveries Maintaining accurate transport records for compliance and audit purposes Ensuring all transport documentation meets customer and regulatory requirements Personal Traits and Skills: Self-motivated and proactive Able to work independently as well as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks Confident with IT systems (experience with warehouse or logistics software is an advantage)
