JMC Aviation are working with an aviation manufacturer based in Harlow, looking to recruit a new Hydraulic Supervisor to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Southend. Working Monday–Friday, 08:00- 16:30.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough testing, repairs, and overhauls of various hydraulic aviation components according to original manufacturer manuals and instructions.
* Ensure all quality standards and procedures are strictly observed and maintained.
* Establish and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment.
* Prepare detailed workshop reports and material reviews to support accurate customer estimates for the purchasing and commercial departments.
* Aid in developing new capabilities and researching improved methods to save costs and reduce turn‑time.
* Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and ensure all safety requirements are met.
* Understand and exceed customer needs and expectations at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Understanding of EASA Pt 145 regulatory requirements for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components.
* Essential background in a hydraulic aviation environment, with a preference for previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience using both Skydrol and hydraulic oil rigs.
* Good understanding of MS Office and business systems and procedures.
* Ability to interpret manuals and accurately record inspection findings.
* Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
* Must be highly safety-conscious with a keen attention to detail.
