Role Overview
We are seeking a driven M&A Lead to spearhead buy-side mandate origination and see transactions through to close. This is a commission-only opportunity with significant upside for top performers: ideal for accomplished investment banking, business development, or corporate finance professionals seeking flexibility and uncapped earnings
Responsibilities
* Source, qualify, and onboard buy-side firms seeking mid-market UK acquisitions.
* Build and nurture relationships with investors, private equity, and strategic acquirers
* Manage live transaction pipeline (c.150 active deals) and drive deal closure in collaboration with principals and service providers
* Deliver expert valuation, negotiation, and execution support through your network and the CorpFin Hub platform
* Maintain close client and stakeholder engagement throughout the transaction process
Candidate Profile
* Background in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or buy-side origination
* Direct experience sourcing or managing buy-side mandates is strongly preferred
* Outstanding interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills
* Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously in a commission-based structure
* Strong professional reputation and existing buy-side relationships are a plus
