About the role
* Reading and interpreting job cards, drawings and/or specifications to determine job requirements
* Measuring and marking plates according to requirements
* Tool selection and setting and programming machinery
* Measuring and cross‑checking finished product against drawings for accuracy and fit
* Identifying machinery faults
* Following company safety and quality procedures and guidelines
* Aligning to the Pedco core values
Fulltime position but would consider a casual or part‑time position if required.
38‑hour week minimum with additional hours available Mon - Fri and Saturday mornings.
Day shift (6am to 2pm) or afternoon shift (2pm to 10pm) available.

Skills and experience
* Previous experience operating a press brake (plate rolling, section rolling or pipe bending experience is also advantageous).
* Minimum of 1‑2 years of press brake operating experience.
* Take pride in your work.
* Valid forklift licence.
* Overhead crane experience.
* Previous experience working with steel plates from 5mm up to 40mm desirable.
* Permanent residency or citizenship in Australia.
