Job Title: Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning / Flushing Engineer
Location: Redhill, Surrey.
Salary / Benefits: £30k – £45k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Client would consider applications from Intermediate Level through to Lead Flushing Engineer.

Specialist Water Treatment / HVAC company with a presence across the South of England now has an exciting opportunity for a Water Treatment Flushing Engineer to join its expanding team.
Candidates will have a good working knowledge of BSRIA BG 29 & BG 50 guidelines, which they will use to carry out a range of pre-commissioning / flushing duties to new and existing water systems.
Due to the nature of the role candidates must be flexible in their approach to working and be happy to travel across the South East.

Experience & Qualifications
* Experience undertaking balancing and flushing tasks on various water systems.
* Good working knowledge of BSRIA guidelines.
* Must have excellent communication skills.
* Able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills in line with company needs.
* Competent using PDA / Tablet systems.
Responsibilities
* Setting up and flushing both hot water and chilled water systems, across new and existing sites and to BSRIA BG 29 guidelines.
* Undertaking pre-commissioning cleans on closed and cooling systems in line with BSRIA BG 50.
* Undertaking chlorination works on both storage tanks, as well as through main injections.
* Dosing on CHW and LTHW and washing systems with inhibitors and biocides.
* Calculation of velocities and flow rates.
* Prioritising workload efficiently, making time for report writing.
* Producing detailed technical reports and schematics using PDA / Tablet systems.
* Maintaining and continuing to build excellent working relationships with clients.
* Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant BSRIA / Health and Safety Legislations.
