Overview
Bradford College is seeking an experienced Digital Transformation and Business Systems Project Manager to lead a programme of review, refresh and potential replacement of our key business systems. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that essential services remain uninterrupted, new solutions integrate seamlessly with existing platforms, and all outcomes are robust, future‑ready and aligned with the needs of our staff and students.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for projects and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders through clear, effective and timely communications.
* Establish, facilitate and administer cross‑College strategic project teams, including Project Initiation Documents and Action Tracking.
* Manage the expectations of staff exposed to organisational and IT system changes, driving necessary cultural and behavioural change.
* Ensure the team’s key performance indicators are met and strive to exceed them.
* Represent the College on working groups where required.
* Plan and lead the re‑procurement, upgrade and implementation of business systems in line with College Financial and Procurement Regulations.
* Plan and lead system configuration, change management, user training and successfully manage the project to time, budget, and quality, ensuring all agreed benefits are realised.
* Manage the relationship with the system supplier(s), ensuring delivery and implementation align with the contract, agreed implementation plan and meet College requirements.
* Ensure alignment of the project(s) with other projects and programmes within the College’s portfolio, both in terms of strategic direction and sequencing of activity.
* Oversee the successful integration of the solution(s) within the existing systems architecture and appropriate interfaces with existing systems, working closely with systems experts.

Education & Training
* GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths (or be prepared to pass a test before interview).
* GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English (or be prepared to pass a test before interview).
* Level 3 equivalent qualification (e.g., A Level, BTEC National Diploma/Certificate) in a relevant subject.
Experience
* Experience working in Further or Higher Education (or similar public sector).
* Knowledge/experience of contract/project management.
* Experience managing and coordinating implementation of digital business systems.
* Experience working with external stakeholders.
