About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Heating Engineer to join our West Local Delivery Team. This role will ensure that repairs / servicing and breakdowns are carried out, providing a timely, efficient, and high standard of work to our properties. This is a key role in ensuring that our homes are maintained to a high standard, for us to provide an excellent service to our tenants and to ensure that we fulfil our legal obligations, so if you want to help make a difference to our tenants, this may be the job for you!
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
1. To work as part of the Planned Asset, Operations Directorate, ensuring that the Association's properties are maintained to the required standard.
2. To complete the planned heating Installations of Gas, Oil and renewable systems. To ensure new boilers and system installations are carried out efficiently and effectively and to the customer’s satisfaction.
3. To ensure installations are carried out in accordance with the Association procedures and carried out in accordance with the latest regulations.
4. Manage and prioritise own workload on a day-to-day basis with regards to the planned program and day to day scheduled work.
5. Be able to carry out reactive works and support when needed.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience of working as a qualified Heating Engineer and will be CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, UVHWS and EEDH Qualified as well as being Gas Safe Registered.
It would be beneficial if the successful candidate has experience of working within Social Housing and will have experience of renewable heating systems including ASHP, Solar Thermal, HR and MVHR accredited qualification to BPEC level or equivalent. As well as being IT literate, candidates should have good literacy and numeracy skills as well as excellent communication skills. A driving licence and DBS Check is an essential requirement of the role.
