A well-established building-services consultancy with three UK offices is seeking an experienced **Senior or Principal electrical engineer.

We have a strong track record in energy-efficient system design, BIM Level 2 delivery, and Soft Landings commissioning.
Project Experience As part of the electrical team, you€ll contribute to projects such as:
Residential developments** including multi-storey apartments, mixed-use buildings, and large-scale housing schemes - Extra-care and assisted living facilities** focusing on resilience, safety, and energy efficiency
Commercial, civic, and community buildings requiring modern electrical infrastructure, low-carbon design, and smart-system integration
Sustainability-driven refurbishments and upgrades, improving energy performance and meeting modern compliance standards.
What You€ll Do
Lead electrical design delivery across multiple projects - Develop power distribution, lighting, life-safety, data, and building-services systems - Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and supporting the wider team - Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated MEP solutions - Ensure designs meet current regulations, standards, and sustainability objectives - Contribute to quality assurance, project reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We€re Looking For
Proven experience as a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer within building services - Strong technical knowledge of electrical design, standards, and compliance - Ability to manage projects, communicate clearly, and lead by example - Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, lighting calculations) - A proactive, collaborative, and client-focused mindset - Chartered or working toward chartership (highly desirable)
