Job Description
Assist in the daily preparation of food for a variety of meal plans at various establishments across East Ayrshire to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council’s key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or have a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal offer of employment can be made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time post based at Loudoun Academy. The post is for 15 hours per week, with a rate of £12.96 per hour. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 11:45 am to 2:45 pm. The position is temporary until 30th April 2026.
