IT Network Administrator - Gateshead
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are seeking an IT Network Administrator to join a well‑established school in the Gateshead area. The role is to begin as soon as possible and is on an ongoing basis.
The Role
* Responsible for maintaining and optimising the school's computer networks.
* Installing and configuring hardware and software.
* Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues.
* Implementing security measures and managing user access.
* Managing backup systems.
The Ideal Candidate
* Relevant qualification.
* Experience working within IT.
* Experience working within a school setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one.
The advertised pay is £90 - £110 per day, dependent on qualifications and experience.
