AI Engineer
to help integrate AI-powered functionality into its core infrastructure, internal tooling, and customer-facing systems. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on integrating existing AI/LLM technologies-not building new models. The AI Engineer will work across multiple functions to craft effective prompt strategies, deploy AI workflows, and embed third-party APIs like OpenAI, Claude, and Hugging Face into internal tools and product features. You'll operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and ops, identifying use cases and delivering practical solutions that improve developer productivity and customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Integrate third-party AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face) into both internal tools and end-user products Build intelligent workflows for summarization, query handling, documentation, support automation, and more Design prompt chains and task-specific prompt engineering solutions for various business functions Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to prioritize high-impact use cases Write maintainable, production-ready code using Python, NodeJS, or related backend technologies Ensure all AI-related features meet company standards for security, compliance, and performance Continuously evaluate new AI tooling and APIs to drive further opportunities REQUIREMENTS Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into production environments Strong proficiency in prompt engineering and chaining logic Solid backend engineering foundation, ideally in Python or NodeJS Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, Pinecone, or equivalent Strong problem-solving focus and delivery-oriented mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile product environment Clear communicator and strong cross-functional collaboration skills NICE TO HAVE Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Temporal Exposure to vector databases or semantic search Experience using AI to build internal developer productivity tools Knowledge of RAG (retrieval augmented generation) pipelines or customer support AI systems WORKING MODEL Remote-first with flexibility across European time zones Flat structure and fast decision-making environment Direct exposure to product and leadership teams Role offers autonomy and the chance to lead AI adoption from the ground up BENEFITS & CULTURE Competitive salary and remote flexibility High-ownership role with direct business impact Fast-paced, collaborative fintech culture Opportunity to define and drive AI use cases in a modern engineering team If you're passionate about applied AI and want to work at the core of a growing fintech's technical evolution, this is a rare opportunity to own and deliver high-leverage systems from day one. #J-18808-Ljbffr
