Detailed job description and main responsibilities Process test results and ensure that they are made available to the referrer via the correct route (orally, written or electronically) and within department time standards. Ensure accurate documentation of procedures performed on a manual or computerised database. Ensure all equipment used is safe to use, kept clean and fully stocked. Participate in audits, research and clinical trials as directed by the Senior Chief Cardiac Physiologist, performing tests to agreed protocols. Participate in the departmental appraisal process for professional/personal development and progression. To recognise life threatening arrhythmias and have the ability to know when to seek assistance from senior staff within the area.
