Clinical Lead – Complex Care Services

About the Role
An established, family-owned healthcare provider with over 30 years of experience is seeking a Clinical Lead to support their expansion into the North East of England. Based in Leeds, this newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape clinical standards, influence service development, and play a key role in the organisation's regional growth.
The position involves providing clinical oversight and leadership across complex care packages delivered through Local Authority commissioning and Personal Health Budgets. You'll work closely with service users, families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, person-centred care while contributing to the ongoing commercial development of services across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical oversight, leadership, and governance for complex care services across the North East.
* Conduct clinical assessments, develop care plans, and ensure best practice in all care delivery.
* Support and mentor care teams through clinical supervision and training.
* Lead on audits, incident reviews, and safeguarding matters.
* Build strong partnerships with commissioners, ICBs, hospital discharge teams, and community services.
* Contribute to tender processes and new service proposals.
* Deliver clinical training and competency assessments for care staff.
* Support the establishment of new services and regional operations.
About You
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC PIN.
* Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience, ideally within community or complex care.
* Strong understanding of PHBs, LA commissioning, and multi-disciplinary working.
* Experience supporting individuals with Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, and/or Physical Disabilities.
* Confident in clinical governance, safeguarding, and care quality frameworks.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships across healthcare networks.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally.
* Desirable: Previous experience as a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, or Community Matron, and involvement in service development or business growth.
