We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Support Worker Higher Level Stores & Distribution who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Pharmacy department is expanding the use of digital technology to support the development of processes providing an innovative approach to the service delivery. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team, to support with delivering a quality service to our internal and external customers.
The successful candidate must have a desire to provide a high quality, safe, effective and efficient service to patients. You must be pro-active, flexible and able to work under pressure to prioritise work both in a team and working alone.
This post will support the Lead Store and Distribution Technician with the day-to-day delivery of the Pharmacy Store and Distribution service, which includes the supervision, organisation and training of the local Pharmacy services team.
Applicants must already hold Level 2 Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dedicated individual who has the skills to support and motivate a team; The role includes supervising the use of automation within Pharmacy stores; To assist with the receipt, supply and distribution of pharmaceutical products; to supervise staff of all abilities.
This is an exciting role where the post holder will be at the forefront of training and supervising the use of associated technology. Full training will be provided in the department. You must have a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Experience of working in a pharmaceutical related or hospital environment is essential. The applicant must possess an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services.
