As part of the management team within the Glasgow branch, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and exceeding business goals. In this role you will lead a team of skilled Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them towards achieving our Business Plan targets for Major Plan fulfilment. You will cover Modernisation, New installation, Platform Lifts, Passenger and Goods Lifts. You will shape and inspire your team, ensuring they consistently deliver exceptional service that aligns with our company values and Health and Safety standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience within the lift industry to join a passionate, dedicated team. Our ideal candidate has proven experience within the lift industry, ideally in a management or senior technical engineering role. The successful candidate will be based at our Glasgow Service Branch and may need to travel throughout the Central Belt and occasionally further afield in Scotland.
Field Repair Manager Responsibilities
* Efficiently plan engineer workloads including the allocation of repair works.
* Maintenance of a portfolio.
* Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
* Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures and conduct risk assessments and method statements.
* Carry out regular site monitoring.
* Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints.
Field Repair Manager Requirements
* Previous experience working within the lift industry or a similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
* Relevant management qualifications are desirable.
* Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
