MARKETING MANAGER – SOUL PADEL
Location: National (regular travel required across all clubs)
Reporting to: Marketing Director
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Bonus: 20% Short Term Incentive Scheme (on-target performance)

Soul Padel is on an ambitious growth journey to become the UK’s most dynamic and recognisable padel operator. As we scale nationally, we are seeking a high-calibre Marketing Manager to lead, protect and evolve our brand across every touchpoint.
This is not a traditional “campaign management” role.
This is a national brand leadership position inside a fast-growth sports business.
OVERVIEW
The Marketing Manager is responsible for:
* Protecting and evolving the Soul Padel brand
* Ensuring brand consistency across all venues and channels
* Leading brand strategy for all new club openings
* Embedding Soul Padel within new communities
* Ensuring we become an integral part of each local ecosystem
* Driving participation, occupancy and repeat engagement through brand-led activity
You will operate nationally, working closely with:
* Marketing Director
* Commercial Director
* Regional Managers
* Club teams
* External agencies and creative partners
This is a hands-on role within a scaling business — high ownership, high visibility, high impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. National Brand Leadership & Governance
* Act as the custodian of the Soul Padel brand guidelines
* Ensure consistency across physical clubs, digital platforms, campaigns and retail
* Maintain visual identity standards (colour control, typography, devices, imagery treatment)
* Own tone of voice implementation — playful, inclusive, energetic, community-led
* Evolve the brand as we scale while protecting its integrity
* You are responsible for ensuring the brand strengthens — not fragments — as we grow.
2. New Club Openings – Brand & Community Strategy
You will lead the brand dimension of all new club launches nationally.
This includes:
* Developing the launch narrative for each new location
* Ensuring brand positioning aligns with local demographics
* Creating structured launch toolkits for clubs
* Leading brand activation at opening events
* Embedding Soul Padel into local schools, grassroots organisations, businesses and councils
* Ensuring clubs launch with strong occupancy and community momentum
Critically, you will ensure every launch answers one question:
How do we become indispensable to this local community?
3. Community Ecosystem Embedding
Soul Padel must be more than a sports facility.
You will:
* Develop national frameworks for local community integration
* Partner with Regional Managers to activate locally
* Shape programmes that reflect our values — Meet. Play. Connect.
* Support growth of sub-brands including:
o Soul Sisters
o Soul Timers
o Soul Circuit
o Soul Mates loyalty platform
* Ensure brand campaigns translate into meaningful local participation
* Success means Soul Padel becomes woven into the social fabric of each town or city.
4. Campaign & Participation Growth
Working alongside the wider marketing team:
* Lead brand-led campaigns that drive occupancy and repeat play
* Develop scalable campaign frameworks for multi-site rollout
* Ensure activity remains measurable and commercially aligned
* Analyse participation and engagement metrics
* Refine messaging to improve conversion and retention
Brand must drive revenue — not just awareness.
5. Digital, Content & Cultural Relevance
* Lead brand direction across social and digital channels
* Ensure content reflects our tone of voice principles
* Keep Soul Padel culturally current and relevant
* Build storytelling around community impact and participation
* Work with agencies, creators and ambassadors
* Our voice should feel like “a chat between friends on the court.”
6. Retail, Merchandising & In-Club Brand Experience
* Collaborate on merchandise storytelling and presentation
* Ensure retail reflects our bold visual identity
* Align physical club branding with national standards
* Support in-club brand theatre and experiential moments
* Every touchpoint must feel unmistakably Soul Padel.
PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITY
You will be measured on:
* Brand consistency scores across venues
* New club launch performance (occupancy & community engagement)
* Participation growth post-launch
* Social and digital engagement metrics
* Loyalty platform engagement support
* Contribution to revenue growth via brand activity
* Your 20% STI will be directly linked to measurable impact.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential Experience
* 5-10+ years in brand or marketing roles
* Experience in sport, leisure, hospitality, lifestyle or high-growth consumer brands
* Proven track record of launching new locations or market entries
* Experience operating in multi-site businesses
* Strong campaign planning and execution discipline
* Experience working cross-functionally with operational leaders
